Description

There it was again, just like in the library when they’d had that silent moment of understanding…He would have never in a million years figured that he would have so much in common with someone from nineteenth-century England. Then again, he never would have imagined he’d ever even meet someone from nineteenth-century England.
“You’re not what I was expecting, Elias Caldwell.”
Even though he couldn’t see his face that well, Tyler could almost feel Eli’s smile as it radiated. “And what were you expecting?”
Tyler didn’t have an answer for that. How could he?
