About the Holiday Babies Series:
With high moral values and a strong sense of unity, the Ramsay family counts five daughters and their partners - Madelyn and husband Dr. Nick Preston, Roxanne and husband Dr. Greg Hayes, Heather and husband Jeff Bollin, Claire and fiancé David Wheeler, and little sister Tiffany - and numerous children between them. The mother, Barbara, and her new husband, the powerful TV news director Lou Roland, travel a lot but often reside at the Ramsay-Roland house in Lexington, Kentucky. Monica Roland, Lou’s daughter, has joined the happy household with her twin toddlers.
Wedding Surprise is the story of Claire and David.
Two weeks before their wedding, Claire and David receive an unexpected announcement that can destroy their relationship. Is their love for each other strong enough to turn the worst wedding surprise into the best?
A sweet and humorous romance novel.

Excerpt
“You shouldn’t even get a glimpse of Claire’s wedding outfit.” David’s future mother-in-law wiggled a menacing finger under his nose. “It would invite bad luck. God forbid.”
“Yes, of course, Barbara.” Not that he believed in this bunch of nonsense, but David Wheeler would rather not contradict Claire’s mother and jeopardize his impending nuptials.
His fiancée edged next to him and laid a soft hand on his forearm. Her red-painted nails gently raked his flesh in silent warning. He cast a sideways glance in her direction and caught the gleam of amusement twinkling in her turquoise eyes. “Chill out, hon,” she mouthed.
A placid smile concealed his annoyance and he armed himself with patience. “I’ve heard it’s a bad omen for the groom to see the bride in her wedding gown before the ceremony.”
One month left before their big day. He couldn’t wait for the moment she would become his wife. They’d had their share of problems over the ten years they’d dated, but that was all behind them.
Anxiety attempted to wedge its way into his thoughts, but he refused to let the memories of his dreadful foolishness swamp him.
Thank God, Adriana, the evil temptress, was married and out of the way.
And now, the wait was finally over. Soon Claire would become his wife and life companion.
Was it a bad omen to look at the wedding gowns and imagine Claire wearing them?
***
“Surprise!” the female crowd screamed when the French doors of the Tea Room at the Marriott Hotel opened.
“My God.” Claire Ramsay froze at the entrance of the room decorated with silver balloons and fancy banners. Exotic and floral fragrances wafted toward them.
“Go ahead, darling.” David’s hand splayed on Claire’s lower back as he urged her forward. “They’ve organized a fabulous bridal shower for you. It’s the beginning of the festivities.” He kissed her nape and whispered, “Our wedding is finally shaping up.”
“Oh dear, this is so...so...” Emotion clogged her throat. She wiped the mist at the corners of her eyes and embraced her mother. “Thank you, Mom.”
She turned toward her fiancé and gasped at his ferocious expression. “David?”
A scowl had replaced his joyful grin.
With his jaws locked and his lips pinched into a thin line, he stared straight ahead.
“David?”
A curse answered her question. He stepped closer to her and muttered, “What’s that woman doing here?”
“Who?” Claire spun to follow his gaze.
“Look near the column.” Under his dark eyebrows, his beautiful hazel eyes shot daggers.
“Drat, Adriana Asario.” Claire’s former classmate who’d spread nasty gossip and tried twice to break up Claire and David’s relationship.

Description
You can't program love … or can you?
Kayleigh Renshaw has come up with the idea for a brilliant "compatibility app," a new kind of matchmaking software. All she needs is a programmer to help her bring the idea to market … and she knows exactly who she wants. But Niall Walsh - a code whiz and her former best friend - has been avoiding her since he returned from Afghanistan. In spite of their history, and some sparks that go beyond friendship, he's proving reluctant … Is it her, or is something darker holding him back?

Excerpt
A strange expression came over Niall’s face, and he seemed to look deep into her, not into her eyes, but through her eyes. As if he could see the thoughts clamoring to betray her. She glanced down then up again, finding it hard to look away.
“And you’re certain your app will do this,” he said, his face serious. “Help people find true love?”
Her hand stilled on Chairman Meow’s white belly, earning her a prickly swat. She gave an emphatic nod. “Of course. Don’t you agree?”
Niall frowned a bit. “No. I see it as a fun conversation starter, more or less.”
She scowled. “So you’re saying our product is some kind of joke? That users won’t take it seriously? What’s on your list? The one you made at camp. You believed in it then.”
The question seemed to catch Niall unprepared. He sat still and awkward for a moment, his eyes scanning the room as if searching for a way out. Finally, he shook his head.
“I was a kid.”
“But you’ll make one now, of course.” She added it to her to-do list so that she wouldn’t forget to look for it.
“No.” Niall waved Chairman Meow’s tail as the cat batted at it. “I compromised about the windows and the cat. But I’m not making a list.”
Disappointment filled her. How closed off could he be? Sheesh. She was right to be firm with herself about not falling for him. They were great as friends, but couldn’t be less compatible romantically—with or without a list, it was obvious.
After a long moment, Niall drew a deep, slow breath. “We’re better off using traits from your list or ones we get from market samples.”
Her eyes narrowed. “And why is that?”
He tilted his face, one corner of his mouth lifting in a wry half smile that didn’t reach his eyes. “I don’t exactly fall into your target audience.” His stiff shoulders shrugged. “I’m not looking to meet someone.”
“Oh.” A heavy weight settled in her chest. Although her heart still broke when she thought of Brett, she knew that someday she’d be ready for romance. Something in Niall’s tone, however, sounded bleak and definite, as if he didn’t think he’d ever love anyone. Or worse, that anyone would ever love him.
In a breathless second, she almost asked him why he’d never consider love. She felt the question rising in her chest, drew in air then, hesitated. What could she say that wouldn’t sound too personal? Take things to an intimate level that might endanger their fragile partnership?
