Description
He has it all - except the girl who got away. She's all about creating romance ... except for herself.
Troy Thurlow let the girl of his dreams get away fourteen years ago, back when he was a high school football star. Now he’s a highly successful executive with a life most people only dream of. Still, he's never stopped thinking about Jasmine, and wondering what would have happened if he'd ever had the courage to ask her on a date. When he meets her by chance on a New York business trip, he's determined to take this second opportunity and run with it. That is, if his past doesn't catch up with him first ...
Jasmine Cervantes does “happily ever after” for a living, arranging dream-destination honeymoons for the fabulously rich and famous. But, so far, her own fairy-tale ending has eluded her. That is, until the boy she couldn’t stop dreaming about in high school barges unexpectedly into her office one day.
When the two start a whirlwind romance they begin to see that fate is giving them a helping hand. Until Jasmine ends up on Italy’s most romantic coast without him. Missing him desperately, she begins to believe that Troy is truly “the one.”
But he's hiding something that could change everything ... and will that buried secret steal their second chance at a happy ending?

Excerpt
“I have a confession to make,” she said, kicking up the sand with her toes.
“You—confessions?” Troy teased, but he seemed to tense as if unsure what she was about to tell him.
“I heard rumors that you were living out of the country. I figured I’d never see you again.”
“So why didn’t you come to our ten-year reunion?”
“I was on an important honeymoon trip right then. With Standing Ovation,” she quickly added with a laugh. “Not my own.”
Troy chuckled, but she thought she saw his jaw clench a little. “I figured that’s what you meant.”
“October in the South Pacific is very nice. That’s when the reunion was, right? At that point, the couple who wanted to honeymoon in Bali was our biggest client we’d ever had so I couldn’t tell my VP no.”
“I guess our lives weren’t meant to cross right then. Extended business trips that sometimes kept me away for a few months. Especially at the beginning of the founding of DREAMS. We were hustling like crazy. All of us keeping insane schedules.”
“That makes sense. Assumptions are often not true. Isn’t that human nature?”
They paused at the shoreline, warm waves tickling Jasmine’s ankles. She wrapped her other arm around Troy’s waist, snuggling into him tighter while he put his other arm around her, while they stood staring out at the Atlantic.
“You feel fantastic, Jasmine,” Troy whispered, brushing his lips against her hair.
“I was just thinking the same thing about you,” she whispered in return, her voice barely above the sound of the rushing ocean.
The water was black, but under the starlight, the waves were a soft, frothy white breaking along the shore.
Troy turned so that they faced each other, and Jasmine snuggled into his chest, his body warming hers in a perfect fit. She was dizzy with his closeness, longing for more.
“I can hear your heart pounding,” she told him, gazing up into his face.
“My heart’s going crazy because I’m overcome by the most beautiful woman in the world. If I go into cardiac arrest, just kiss me and I’ll come right back.”
“Like Sleeping Beauty kissing the prince instead of the other way around?”

Description
A brutal storm. A cryptic message. A life changed ... forever.
Melody de Lyon’s cozy New Orleans bookstore is her pride and joy – until a violent hurricane sweeps it all away. Forced to flee the storm by boat with her ailing grandmother, she wonders how she will ever pick up the pieces of this disaster.
Then, in a fevered state, her grandmother utters a cryptic message that sets Melody on the quest of a lifetime: “Go to White Castle.”
With nothing left to lose, Melody seeks out the old mansion – a beautiful Southern relic haunted by secrets. Once there, she finds Britt Mandeville, the handsome and charming White Castle caretaker.
Fireworks erupt between them and Melody’s attraction to Britt is stronger than she’s ever experienced with a man before, but any hopes of a relationship between them are dashed when she discovers that Britt is already engaged to another woman.
When Melody stumbles across a strange 60-year-old photograph in the house, she is determined to find answers – and the shocking revelations and strange twists of fate lead her right back to Britt.
Can she put all the pieces of the puzzle together, or will family secrets and true love be lost to her forever?

Excerpt
Knocking with her fist, Melody called out, “Mr. Mandeville, can you help me open the door?”
She shoved against the heavy doors one more time in case he didn’t hear her—at the same moment the massive front door popped open and she fell across the threshold, tumbling against the tall, solid caretaker. Literally falling into his arms.
“Oh!” she cried out, her face growing hot when Britt Mandeville threw his arms around her so she didn’t end up flat on her face. “I’m sorry. I couldn’t get the door open. I didn’t mean to—” she stopped, his face close—too close.
A rush of sensations came over her. Melody tried not to think about the man’s hard muscles underneath the soft flannel shirt he was wearing, or his sandpaper jaw, or the pair of amazing lips so close to hers—when she had practically knocked her face into his at the moment they collided.
“You’re fine now,” Britt said, sliding his hands along her arms as he bent to look into her face. “You okay?”
“Yep. I’m fine. Perfectly fine.” Except for her racing heart and a pounding in her ears, she was calm as a summer’s morning.

Praise for the Book
The Owner’s Secret had me hooked from the very beginning. Britt Mandeville is a character who is hard to forget. […] I loved the mystery, the history of the southern plantation, the fun literary references, but especially the friendship and swoony romance between Britt and Melody. I didn’t want to set the book down, even after I had finished the last page. Clean and swoony romance readers alike, this is one book you’ll not want to miss!” ~ Julie C
“I could not put this book down. It is so well written - great, realistic characters, terrific dialogue, some drama with the hurricane, an intriguing mystery about why Melody was sent to the antebellum mansion known as White Castle, and great chemistry between Britt and Melody. Be prepared to be enchanted.” ~ Bernadette Cinkoske
“I loved this book! The characters were well developed and there was a little mystery along with the romance. The twist being that Britt’s ex (or fiancé) was Melody’s sister. I really didn’t expect that. A fun read that kept me interested until the end.” ~ K.M.
“This story has great characters, great location and setting, and great love story. It was a sweet story that pulled into their lives.” ~ Joyeli3
“Love this plot and characters. A must read for this author in this genre.” ~ mima48

"Jessica and James" by Kimberley Montpetit

EXCERPT and GIVEAWAY
Jessica and James:
A Love Story
by Kimberley Montpetit

Jessica and James: A Love Story by Kimberley Montpetit

Jessica and James by Kimberley Montpetit is ON SALE for only $0.99 to 27 February.

This book blast and giveaway is brought to you by I Am A Reader as part of the Romance is in the Air promotion.

Description
Jessica and James is a boxed collection of two romances set in Snow Valley, Montana - the saga of rising star ballerina Jessica and the sparks that fly between her and gorgeous James Douglas, the new pastor in town.
This collection includes new chapters, and a Brand New Bonus Wedding novella!
Suffering with a broken heart, Jessica has struggled to forgive herself for that fateful night when her childhood love was killed in a car accident. After staying away from home for years, she finally returns for Christmas and meets James Douglas who is unlike any minister-in-training she’s ever known. James can not only dish back Jessica’s finely tuned sarcasm but understands grief all too well, turning Jessica’s world and her faith upside down. Is she ready to take another risk on love?
Living 2,000 miles apart proves difficult and Jessica and James’ love is tested in a myriad of ways, but James can’t get the spitfire Jessica out of his mind. When she comes home to Snow Valley to accept an inheritance with her male ballet partner in tow, James and Jessica’s passion for each other takes on a new edge.
Clean romance with heart, and a surprise wedding you won’t see coming.

Excerpt
It was only a small-town Christmas talent show, but Jessica tried to become the Sugar Plum Fairy and dance as well as she did for her job at the New Orleans ballet company. Lighter, lighter, float through the air, she repeated in her mind when the final leaps and spinning began. She was almost finished. The performance had been flawless. Jessica could go home knowing she’d done her best for her old ballet teacher and the people of Snow Valley.
Then she spotted him, and her heart stopped inside her chest. He was sitting in the audience. Right in front of her parents, sister, and younger brother, Sam.
The man. From the cemetery. James Douglas.
A tiny whimper sounded in Jessica’s throat.
Second row, stage right, crisp white shirt, suit coat, red tie, one leg crossed over his knee while the other stuck out into the aisle seat due to their long length.
No, it couldn’t be that same guy. He was too uptight, too perfect and suave and—and crisp in his starched white shirt. He wasn’t the type to come to a ballet, was he? In Snow Valley of all places. Maybe it was someone who just looked like him. But this dude was staring at Jessica. Intensely staring. She stared back, shocked, wondering if she was seeing things, but the stage lights were too bright, blinding her.
The Sugar Plum Fairy crown began to slide off her head. Her left leg that was supposed to bow in the concluding move of the dance stiffened up from the raw Montana December day. It probably hadn’t been the wisest decision to sit in a snowy cemetery earlier that afternoon.
That man watching her leaned forward in his chair and gazed at her in such a mesmerized stance, that the auditorium whirled around her in a frenzy of faces and self-consciousness.
Jessica crashed to the stage, falling into an ungraceful heap, her ankle burning as if she’d broken it. There went her ballet career. All because of some guy’s gorgeous crystal blue eyes.
